Welcome to Subscriptions on Sealed!
As a Collector/Artist, you can now Give/Receive regular support for creatives in the Web3 space! Think like a Patreon model, but utilised for Web3!
Let's get some details out of the way real quick!
Sealed Subscriptions run on DAI, an Ethereum-based stablecoin pegged to USD. So... 1 DAI = $1. They also run on Optimism chain, which makes the whole process very cost-effective!

OK, you're gonna give it a shot? Here's a step-by-step of the whole process...
Go to your Sealed Profile
Click "Create Subscription"
Add Tier
Fill out your details per each tier and add your perks!
We recommend looking at other artists Subscription tiers for ideas, but make sure you set your perks and pricing so they suit you!
Be creative and have fun with it!
Don't forget to hit "Save Changes" before leaving the page!

That's it, you're all set up to start receiving Subs, just share it on your socials and with your collectors!
First off, you'll need 'DAI on Optimism' and 'ETH on Optimism' chain to pay DAI for Subscription Tiers and for Gas.
Click "Subscribe" on a Creators Sealed profile
Select a Tier
Recurring charge details are on the left
Make sure your wallet is set to Optimism chain, you can just hit the "Switch Network" button if not!
Set your deposit on the right, you can Subscribe for multiple months at once here, just adjust the deposit amount!
PRO TIP: If you deposit enough DAI, you can cover your monthly subscription off of Yield alone, meaning you can support artists, gain perks and not spend any DAI, even grow your DAI reserve.
You can deposit or withdraw any uncharged DAI at any time

NOW, for Subscribing with DAI to Creators and claiming your DAI:
You will need minimal ETH on Optimism chain for running transactions!
We recommend @smolrefuel (https://smolrefuel.com/) by our own dev, Llama! You can swap ETH on 81 different chains to another chain with minimal gas costs.
Connect your ETH wallet!
Here ETH on Optimism is needed.
Select "Optimism" chain from the dropdown
So I can swap up to $50 using Smolrefuel, but you can do as little as $5 or $10 for now and be set up for quit a while since the fees will be very low, swapping more at once will be more cost-effective in the long term, but you don't need much to begin with!
Here you can see we paid less than $3 at 25 GWEI, and the same amount of Gas if I swapped $50.
We can get around some swapping and sending fees you would see on exchanges like Coinbase, saving a little bit extra while also being more convenient!
Second method you can use, like mentioned above is an Exchange that allows you to send ETH to other chains, like ETH on Optimism. Personally I previously used Coinbase and the process was pretty easy, just make sure you're sending your ETH or DAI on the Optimism chain as illustrated (it's a little hidden in Coinbase UI imo)!
Third method is Bridging, which we DO NOT recommend, as it is very costly on gas. We found we would be spending as much as our monthly Subscription budget on the gas during a bridge. So please look at the methods above! Personally we recommend Smolrefuel, since gas efficiency is one of the main reasons we designed Subscriptions on Sealed!
OK, now you have ETH on Optimism and/or DAI on Optimism in your wallet!
Go to (https://subscriptions.llamapay.io) or the "View your Subscribers" button on your own Subscription page!
You can see all your subscribers, the Tiers they selected, how many months they have Subscribed for, and when their subscriptions expire!
At the bottom of the list, you can Download a snapshot, CSV file, with all these details. You can use this for tracking Subs eligible for allow lists, airdrops or any other exclusive content you offer!
On the top of the list, you can find the "Claim" tab
Here you can see how much DAI is currently claimable, set an amount, and hit "Claim"
Make sure your wallet is on the Optimism Network, if the Claim button isn't working, you either have no claimable DAI for now, or your wallet is connected to a different chain. You can easily change this in your wallet of choice!
Sign the transaction
Congratulations, you just claimed your Subscription DAI!
If your new DAI doesn't automatically show up in your wallet, double check your wallet is connected to the Optimism chain, and if needed, manually import the DAI contract address below: 0xDA10009cBd5D07dd0CeCc66161FC93D7c9000da1
You can come back every month and claim more, offer cool perks, and grow your Subscriber base over time!
Don't forget you can use your newly acquired DAI to support your favourite artists and avail of their perks now too!
