Kick things off at the homepage. Look for the Mint (+) button at the top of the page on the nav bar. Click it and select the edition button.
You'll be prompted to select your collection. If you're already a seasoned creator with a pre-set ERC-1155 contract, you're ahead of the game. If not, no stress – let's take a quick detour to Manifold.
Navigate to Manifold and log in. Click on the Contracts tab and then New Contract.
Our edition contract currently only supports ERC-1155 for its prowess in handling editioned artworks. Opt for this and choose to deploy on Ethereum. Heads up, there's a cost (~$20), but it's a one-time investment for infinite creativity.
Once your contract is blockchain-official, return to Sealed Art. Refresh the page because, sometimes, the digital realm takes a moment to catch up with your pace.
Time to approve your collection for Sealed Art's exclusive use. A small gas fee applies.
Now, for the core of your journey – creating editions. Upload your masterpiece image and give your drop a title. Add a description to give context to your work, then move on to setting up properties (your metadata).
Set your price, decide on the mint limit per wallet, and schedule your launch. Want to go live immediately? Choose "When Uploaded". Set an end date to cap your offering, ensuring exclusivity.
Finalize your creation with a click on the Sign In button. This might be a one-time action or a recurring step, depending on your setup. Once signed, you're ready to release your editions into the wild – directly onto the mainnet. There's no mint fee associated for the artist. Editions will be minted onchain when the first collector purchases one.
